Our two congregations formed independently in the mid 1700's and can recall a rich history in our communities. From the destruction of buildings, Indian attacks and fires, we re-built and continued on. In 1923 the congregations of Zoar and St John's formed the Mt.Zion Parish, this union remains today.
In 2011 our two churches became the first in Lebanon County to Join the North American Lutheran Church (NALC) for which we remain a firm member today.
