Holy Week
Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday celebrates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. Crowds waved palm branches and shouted “Hosanna!” as He rode in on a donkey, hailing Him as King.

Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday opens Holy Week by fulfilling Old Testament prophecy (Zechariah 9:9) and showing Jesus as the promised Messiah who comes humbly yet powerfully. We rejoice in His kingship while remembering that true victory comes not through earthly power, but through His sacrificial death and resurrection—pure grace received by faith alone.
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday remembers Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples, where He instituted the Lord’s Supper and gave the new commandment (“maundy”) to love one another as He loved us.
Service 7:00PM
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday is the night Jesus instituted the Sacrament of the Altar, giving us His true body and blood “for the forgiveness of sins” in, with, and under the bread and wine (Matthew 26:26-28). The altar is stripped bare, symbolizing Christ’s abandonment and preparing us for Good Friday. This evening underscores God’s gifts of Word and Sacrament—tangible means of grace that strengthen our faith and unite us to Christ’s saving work.
Good Friday
Good Friday solemnly recalls Jesus’ suffering, crucifixion, and death on the cross for the sins of the whole world. “It is finished.”
Service 7:00PM
Good Friday
Good Friday is the day Christ’s atoning sacrifice was completed, winning forgiveness and life for us through His blood alone. There are no flowers, no alleluias, this is a day to contemplate the depth of God’s love shown in the cross. Lutheran theology emphasizes that Jesus’ death was not defeat but victory: by grace through faith, His suffering becomes our redemption, and the cross stands as the center of our salvation.

Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday proclaims the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead—He is risen! Death is defeated, and new life is given to all who believe.
Service 10:45AM
Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is the highest feast of the church year and the joyful climax of Holy Week. We celebrate Christ’s victory over sin, death, hell, and the devil, just as the women at the tomb heard the angel declare, “He is not here; He is risen!” (Luke 24:6). Services overflow with alleluias, bright paraments, and triumphant hymns, proclaiming that through His resurrection we receive forgiveness, eternal life, and the sure hope of our own resurrection.
